A passport is an important travel document that allows foreign nationals to enter and leave countries. It also protects the holder against identity theft, and is an essential part of any international travel plan. The Indonesian passport is currently ranked 70th among global passports according to the Guide Passport Ranking Index, and it enables its holders to access 73 visa-free countries worldwide.
Obtaining a new passport is easy! Just fill out the form on our website and click Order Now. Once we've received your application, we'll send it to our embassy. The embassy will contact you by email to schedule a visa interview appointment. Depending on the country, you'll be required to bring your valid passport and one passport photo with you to the interview paspor online.
The passport you
receive may be a traditional or electronic passport. We'll help you determine
which option is right for your needs.
We'll help you get
your new passport ready to go in as few days as possible. It's important to
note that processing times, fees and requirements can change without notice.
In addition, it's
important to remember that US citizens traveling to Indonesia must have a
passport that is valid for at least 6 months after the date they plan to enter
Indonesia. If your passport is set to expire in a shorter time frame or has
already used up all of its visa pages, you'll need to apply for a new one
before you travel.
To get a new
passport, you'll need a valid, government issued photo ID. This can be a
driver's license, military ID or other form of official identification. You'll
also need a blank page in your current passport.
You'll also need to
submit a completed Indonesia visa application. You can download the PDF version
of the application from our website, or you can print out the form and complete
it on your own. The completed application must be printed single-sided and
signed in blue or black ink.
Applicants who are
not sure what to expect during their passport service appointment should arrive
15 minutes early for their visa appointment. You should bring a valid,
government issued photo ID and one passport photo (made especially for your
passport) with you to your appointment. Family snapshots, portraits or school
pictures are not acceptable as passport photos.
Please be aware that
you cannot bring large personal electronic devices such as laptops, iPads, or
handheld gaming devices to your consular appointment. The Consulate Local Guard
Force will not store these items for you.
In addition, you'll
need a Business Cover Letter (BCL) from a U.S. company confirming you'll be a
representative of that company during your stay in Indonesia. The BCL must be
an original signed document on company letterhead.
RPX will deliver your
documents to the address you provide when you book your appointment. However,
if you live in an area where RPX does not provide courier services, you'll need
to pick them up from your nearest RPX location. If you choose this option, a
service fee will be charged for each delivery.
